Requirements & Qualifications :

• Preferable experience of 3 to 4 years
• Preferably knows Tamil & English
• Computer Skills – MS Office, PPT
• Minimum qualification – graduate
• Candidate must be a localite of the area
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, & work under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail & proactive problem solving
• Knowledge of various textile production processes

Job Description :

As a merchant at Star Kinits, you will play a pivotal role at facilitating communication & coordination between various vendors of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring smooth execution of orders from inception to delivery, meeting quality standards, timeliness & customer expectations.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with internal departments like production, design, quality assurance to initiate, track & fulfil customers’ orders efficiently.
• Analyse raw material cost, production expenses, & overhead expenses to accurately estimate the cost of production & negotiate pricing with clients
• Collaborate with production managers to develop production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization & timely delivery of orders
• Plan vendor visits as & when required for fabric & other accessories.
• Prepare & maintain all necessary documents related to orders, including purchase invoice, shipping documents, quality reports, etc
• Manage procurement of raw materials & auxiliary supplies ensuring timely availability & maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers & external vendors to ensure sooth business operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities & market demand.
